The following is a list of our upcoming Open Events. This is an ideal opportunity to find out more about your area of interest, meet with lecturers and see our facilities.

ACCA and CIMA Prizewinners
On Thursday the 13th of November 2008 in the Westbury Hotel, Dublin Business School (DBS) announced 43 student Prizewinners from their highly acclaimed Professional School bringing the total in 2008 to 85 Prizewinners.

DBS & Lidl to offer BA in Retail Management
DBS, in conjunction with German supermarket chain Lidl, is pleased to announce the re-launch of the BA in Retail Management in March 2008. The programme, originally launched by the Minister for Education Mary Hanifin, commenced in September 2007 and includes an apprenticeship in retail management, culminating in an internationally recognised degree. Lidl will employ the participants of the programme as Apprentice Deputy Store Managers and successful graduates of the programme will have an excellent opportunity of being offered a permanent deputy store manager contract. Some may even progress immediately to running their own store.
DBS Fashion Show raises €6,000 for Charity
The students of Dublin Business School (DBS) were delighted to present the Bubblegum Club with a cheque for €5,819.31 today. The Bubblegum Club is a charity which organises events for children who are sick or who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
Congratulations to Padraig Harrington
DBS would like to congratulate our former graduates Padraig and Caroline Harrington on Padraig's recent success at winning the Open Championship.
Portobello College acquired by Dublin Business School -- major development for Irish third level education
Dublin, 1st August -- Portobello College, one of the leading independent third level institutions in Ireland, has been acquired by Dublin Business School, part of international education provider Kaplan, Inc., a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company (NYSE:WPO).
